We are pleased to announce the launch of Open Doors Scotland

Brother Andrew, who began the work of Open Doors with the persecuted church over 50 years ago, undertook his ministry training in Glasgow. So we are coming back to where it all began!

Our vision in the UK and Ireland is that every persecuted Christian should be prayed for and supported by other christians.

Our approach for Scotland is to:

• Develop a serving and supporting community able to influence others with the values and characteristics of the persecuted church.
  
  
• Inspire the church in Scotland to pray alongside those who share their faith but not their freedom. We recognise that often our prayers can go where we cannot. They enable us to walk alongside persecuted Christians and become par t of their story.
  
  
• Form committed relationships with churches across the nation. Encouraging each other to know that once the persecuted church becomes part of our story, we are changed forever.
  
  
• Build a presence at major Christian events throughout Scotland to help mobilise the church in support of persecuted Christians.
