Serving Persecuted Christians Worldwide - Church Relations Manager - Open Doors UK & Ireland

Church Relations Manager (North)

Full time (flexible working options),
£28,000 to £31,000

Home based with access to the Northern region of England, plus occasional trips to the Witney office.

This is a full-time role – however we are willing to consider two part time roles; one covering the North East and the other the North West of England.

Open Doors is a Christian charity, part of Open Doors International, a global NGO network which works in over 60 countries to support and strengthen persecuted Christians. Last year the UK base raised approximately £15 million to provide practical support to persecuted Christians such as food, medicines, trauma care, legal assistance, safe houses and schools, as well as spiritual support through Christian literature, training and resources.

We have an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of Open Doors partnership with churches across the North of England. We need a dynamic and inspirational person who will mobilise churches and Christians across the North to pray, give and act on behalf of persecuted Christians. This role represents a strategic opportunity to influence and advocate on behalf of persecuted Christians around the world.

Utilising your leadership skills, you will be able to build relationships with the church in the North to raise awareness and engagement with the persecuted church globally. As such, you will be able to communicate and inspire, to build teams with our volunteers and to develop and deliver a strategy for engagement and influence.

You will discover that we work here because we are passionate about the mission of Open Doors. This role will provide you with the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors, and to be part of a team that seeks to grow the charity, to support and encourage one another, and uphold the Christian values that we base our identity on.

If you are a Christian* looking to make an impact and seeking a new challenge in 2022, then we’d love to hear from you;
