Inspire Team Member, full-time, £22,041 - £25,929

Based in Witney office

Witney (currently working remotely, but some office working expected in time)

Do you have a heart for helping Christians facing persecution? Do you want to encourage the church in the UK? Would you like to help bridge the gap between the UK church and the persecuted church?

Open Doors is a Christian charity, part of Open Doors International, a global NGO network which works in over 60 countries to support and strengthen persecuted Christians. Last year the UK base raised approximately £15 million to provide practical support to persecuted Christians such as food, medicines, trauma care, legal assistance, safe houses and schools, as well as spiritual support through Christian literature, training and resources.

We’re looking for a Christian* to join our Inspire Team, to help us honour and build relationships with our supporters and inspire them to continue to support the persecuted church. This will involve answering and making phone calls to churches, volunteers and other supporters, and communicating with them by email and face-to-face at events.

You’ll need to be confident using our systems and following procedures, competent in your IT skills, good at inspiring people, listening to them, facilitating their requests, and be comfortable praying with our supporters over the phone. Most importantly, you’ll need excellent people skills.

For an informal chat about the role, you’re welcome to contact our Inspire team leader or supervisor on 01993 460015. To apply for this role, please:
