Are you a committed Christian who is passionate about the persecuted church and the mission of Open Doors?
Do you have experience of managing a team or function in a medium sized organisation?
Do you have excellent organisational and time management skills with good attention to detail?
Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.
We’re looking for a Christian* to perform and supervise the function of Travel within Open Doors. You will administer the travel process with diligence, providing exceptional customer service, attention to detail and maintain effective and inspiring contact with travellers and stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Travel Administrator to deliver a warm and professional service for Open Doors supporters and volunteers travelling with the ministry. You will ensure an excellent traveller experience with particular responsibility for the travel process from planning, contributing to management of risks, working with 3rd party vendors, promotion and administration.
You will have the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors and to work with integrity and with purpose. We offer a flexible role with a good work-life balance with huge job satisfaction and the chance to shape and influence your work. You will work with some inspirational people and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your career.
We welcome applications from candidates of different backgrounds. If you are a Christian* looking to make an impact and seeking a new challenge in 2023, here’s how to apply:
Closing date: Sunday 15th October 2023
Interviews: Wednesday 25th October 2023
*There is an occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for this post to be held by an actively practising Christian who assents to our statement of faith.
Your support helps persecuted Christians continue to courageously follow Jesus.
Together, we can reach those where persecution hits hardest.
