Christians in Syria and Turkey affected by the earthquakes continue to ask for support and prayers following widespread casualties and destruction in the region.
“The church in Aleppo, in Syria, has already suffered so much. But we have faith that God will use His church and keep His church here,” says Pastor Abdullah, an Open Doors partner in Syria. “We want to bring the living hope of Christ to all the men, women and children in our community.”
Working with partner churches in Turkey and Syria, Open Doors partners are doing all they can to provide desperate communities with immediate support and to help rebuild lives for the long-term.
“I’m so grateful to all of you who are standing with us as we go through this extraordinary time,” adds Pastor Abdullah.
A gift of £36, or whatever you can afford, could provide urgent relief, including food and blankets, for a persecuted Christian affected by the earthquake.
Thank you for helping to give hope at this time to our affected brothers and sisters. You are enabling Open Doors to stand with those facing this crisis today, and for as long as they need our support.
For single gifts any excess funds for this appeal will be used to support persecuted Christians where the need is greatest. For monthly gifts will go to where most needed.
