You will likely be familiar with Daniela from Colombia. Her father was killed for his faith, and your support meant she and her family could celebrate last Christmas with other Christians. She is immensely grateful for all your support. This is her letter of thanks to you...
You helped make last Christmas for Daniela and Sebastián a special one
Hello,
My name is Daniela Salcedo Molina. I’m 12 years old and I live in Colombia. I’d like to share some of my story. I thank God and each one of you for everything you have done for me, my brother Sebastián, and my mother Alba.

Last year, I was at the Children’s Centre to celebrate Christmas. My family and I felt good there. The people welcomed us so well there. It was an honour to share with everyone, to know that they care and pray – not only for us – but for children all over the world. I really liked the place – the mountains and landscapes are beautiful and the people are very special.
This year, we received help to live in a new house. We now live in Caucasia. I like the house because it’s comfortable and simple.
It’s almost Christmas. For me, Christmas is to remember that Jesus only came to this world to save us, although we don’t deserve it. I have no words to express my gratitude to everyone who prays for us. I want to say to those who suffer persecution that our God is faithful and helps us at all the times. Stay strong!
With love,
Daniela
Heavenly Father,
Thank You that we can come alongside Daniela and her family. We are honoured and blessed to help in this way. Thank You that her faith in You is strong - may it continue to bless others in her community, just as it blesses us. Protect the whole family, give them a lovely Christmas together, and may 2021 be full of many new blessings.
Amen.
Your support helps persecuted Christians continue to courageously follow Jesus.
Together, we can reach those where persecution hits hardest.
